Selecting one of these tiles takes you to another set of tiles that further breaks down the selected subject into detailed lists of information, photos, and documents. To help you find the right resource, each entry is described, whether it be a photographer’s collection, a roster of steam engines, or a system-wide list of stations.
Many of the resources display as tables or lists. Because there can be thousands of items in a list, scrolling to find the information you seek can be onerous. Fortunately, you can reduce the number of items displayed by using one or more filters, a powerful tool that quickly locates your targeted information.
To use a filter, simply go to the column headings at the top of the list, pick a column that you want to reduce to a few specific values to help isolate your information. Hover over the column name and a downward arrow will appear. When you click this arrow, you will be shown a list of all the choices. Selecting one or more choices will limit the rows displayed to ones containing those values.
